How RemoteHands handles personal data for accounts, bookings, messaging, LINE intake, media uploads, and support.

Scope

This notice applies when you visit RemoteHands, create an account, post or apply for work, publish a profile, send messages, use LINE intake, upload media or documents, or contact support.

Personal Data We Collect

  • Account and contact details such as name, username, email, phone number, preferred language, sign-in provider, and account role.
  • Venue and business review details such as company name, location, contact number, business address, maps links, notes, and uploaded registration documents.
  • Worker and entertainer profile details such as work categories, rates, availability, photos, public profile content, assignment history, reviews, and payout-related records when enabled.
  • Operational communications such as in-app messages, LINE intake requests, customer replies, uploaded photos, and support correspondence.
  • Technical and security data such as session cookies, device and browser signals, logs, IP-derived security context, and analytics events when analytics are enabled.

Why We Use It

  • To run accounts, venue profiles, worker profiles, shift booking, entertainer requests, messaging, notifications, and support workflows.
  • To review venues, workers, and uploaded documents, reduce fraud, protect users, and keep the marketplace reliable.
  • To respond to questions, urgent staffing requests, LINE intake messages, operational incidents, and service updates.
  • To maintain security, diagnose errors, prevent misuse, investigate disputes, and improve product reliability.
  • To comply with legal, tax, accounting, audit, dispute, and regulatory obligations that apply to the service.

Who We Share It With

  • Venues, workers, entertainers, and operators involved in a booking or request receive the information needed to coordinate that work.
  • Service providers that support hosting, authentication, messaging, analytics, storage, support, payments, security, or operations may process data under our instructions.
  • Public profile information is visible to people who can access the relevant public page or marketplace view.
  • We may disclose information to authorities, courts, professional advisers, or counterparties when required by law or necessary to protect rights and safety.

Retention And Security

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above, including operational records, legal duties, audit trails, dispute handling, and security. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or make it no longer identify a person where practical. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data and do not sell personal data.

Your PDPA Rights

  • Request access to personal data and receive a copy where applicable.
  • Ask us to correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated personal data.
  • Ask us to delete, destroy, or anonymize personal data where the law allows.
  • Object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests where applicable.
  • Ask us to restrict use of personal data in cases recognized by law.
  • Request data portability where the data and processing method qualify.
  • Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, and submit a complaint to the Thai Personal Data Protection Committee where applicable.
